Woman killed by Amtrak Train

Just before 10p.m. Saturday night, a 64 year old woman was walking on the train tracks at 64th Avenue at Chicago Drive. That is near Zeeland. She was struck by the incoming Amtrak train and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Amtrak train was delayed for about one hour as police investigated the area. Ottawa County Sheriff's Department is saying that it was a possible suicide.
